Hi, I'm at a bit of a loss to understand what the system is with integrating Australian PayPal options with EnStore. I would like to give my customers the full option of either using their existing PayPal account, Paying by Credit Card or Bank Transfer. Bank Transfer alone is absolutely fine for my Australian customers, but I can imagine that it would get a little tricky with international purchases. I feel that offering comprehensive payment options presents professionally.

It is very unclear in all the documentation that I can find on the Checkout and EnStore websites whether the Australian Business PayPal options are in any way comparable with the US/UK versions, or able to be integrated with EnStore. It would be very helpful if you could find out exactly what the situation is between EnStore and Australian PayPal. I know quite a few Australian retailers looking for a non-PC POS option, and the word of Checkout as an alternative is spreading strongly. EnStore is such a great service, and it really is so useful to have a webstore that integrates entirely with your POS system, but I do need your help to be able to work out what Australian-ended payment options I can offer my customers with EnStore, so that I can ascertain whether I can use it, or if I need to sign up with a third-party shopping cart instead. The link to the Australian PayPal options is here: https://www.paypal-business.com.au/our-products
Many thanks and kind regards,

    Hey Orlando,

For Paypal it breaks down to this. They have two products:

    1. Paypal Express (or "Express Checkout")

    - Payment is done on the Paypal site and returns to Enstore after processing.
    - Takes Paypal accounts or credit cards directly.
    - Takes 5 minutes to set up.
    - No signup/monthly fees.

    2. Paypal Direct

    - Payment is done on the Enstore site.
    - Takes credit cards directly.
    - Need to fill down forms and sign up with paypal (up to 2 weeks)
    - Monthly fee.
    - To my best knowledge only available in UK/US

So the online payment processing option for Enstore in AU comes down to Paypal Express. You should be able to sign up and accepting payments in minutes. We are interested in adding more (local) payment processors, so if you know good ones in AU, please let us know.

    Koen
